Hyginex has received an investment from Persistent Systems, the global leader in software products and technology services.

The investment through Persistent Venture Fund allows Hyginex to expand its operations in the US to continue its mission to save lives by helping healthcare facilities improve hand hygiene.
 
'This important new relationship between Hyginex and Persistent Systems allows Hyginex access to Persistent's experience and knowledge as leaders in the technology world,' said Shiva Swami, chief executive officer, Hyginex.

'Through this investment, Persistent would be able to help Hyginex reach its goals of making significant changes in improving patient safety and increasing quality standards in healthcare facilities.'

Shares of the company gained Rs 2.9, or 0.27%, to trade at Rs 1,081.15. The total volume of shares traded was 2,655 at the BSE (10.40 a.m., Monday).
