Ricoh India said a substantial drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 76.76% to Rs 142.28 million from Rs 612.26 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter surged 48.05% to Rs 3,545.36 million, compared with Rs 2,395 million for the prior year period.
Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 3.58, registering 76.75% decline over previous year period.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.85, or 1.2%, to trade at Rs 156.55. The total volume of shares traded was 163,667 at the BSE (1.40 p.m., Tuesday).
