Helios & Matheson Information Technology  announced a substantial rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended March 2014.  During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 45.68% to Rs 134.90 million from Rs 92.60 million  in the same quarter last year.

Net sales for the quarter   surged 41.95% to Rs 1,498.00 million, compared with Rs 1,055 million for the prior year period.

Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 5.11, registering 38.86% growth over previous year period.
