Fortis Hospital Noida launches new Oncology Centre

Fortis Healthcare announced that its hospital at Uttar Pradesh, Fortis Hospital Noida has launched `Fortis International Oncology Centre`. 

The hospital has entered into an exclusive tie-up with International Oncology Services (P), a cancer care and research services company, run by eminent American Board Certified Doctors, to bring quality oncology services to the people in NCR and UP.

The comprehensive oncology centre at  Fortis Noida willl be equipped to cover all aspects of Oncology including medical oncology, surgical oncology, Radiation Therapy, Bone Marrow Biospy/Aspirate, CRO and collaborative drug development.

The hospital is constructing a separate block for Oncology covering an area of 30,000 square feet. The block is expected to be operational in third quarter FY 2010.

Shares of Fortis Healthcare (Q, N,C,F)* gained Rs 1.8, or 2.71%, to settle at Rs 68.20. The total volume of shares traded was 85,540.00 at the BSE (Wednesday).
