Geodesic Information Systems intends to extend its software voice over internet protocol (VOIP) suite with launch of VOIP hardware phones in FY 2008-09. 

Geodesic Information Systems delivers information technology solutions to customers and develops innovative products. The company also caters to middleware application companies, financial, insurance, and non-banking financial companies, broking houses, exchanges, enterprises and corporations.

Shares of the company gained Rs 2.35, or 1.22%, to settle at Rs 195.05. The total volume of shares traded was 11,383 at the BSE (Tuesday).
