Ujaas Energy, engaged in the manufacture and distribution of transformers, announced that the company has received a letter of allotment (LoA) worth Rs 80 million from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).

The LoA is awarded for design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning including warranty, operation & mentainence of roof top solar PV system of 1000 kWp at Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Ujaas energy is an India-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of solar power. The company operates business in three segments which include e transformer, solar power plant operation and manufacturing & sale of solar power systems.

Shares of the company gained Rs 0.56, or 3.84%, to trade at Rs 15.15. The total volume of shares traded was 31,622 at the BSE (11.56 a.m., Wednesday).
