Quess Corp's wholly owned subsidiary, Quesscorp Holdings, has entered into definitive agreement to acquire 51% shareholding in Comtel Pro, a private limited company incorporated under the laws of Singapore. Comtel Pro is engaged in the business of providing service inter alia, in the field of general staffing, training and skill development to clients in Singapore.

Also, the company has signed the definitive agreements on June 21, 2017, to acquire 46% equity in Heptagon Technologies. The acquisition will be on cash consideration and total investment is Rs 97.7 million for acquiring 46% stake. Heptagon Technologies is a niche software company working with machine learning and automation technologies.

Shares of the company gained Rs 11.55, or 1.30%, to trade at Rs 900. The total volume of shares traded was 2,026 at the BSE (10.06 a.m., Friday).
