Maharashtra Seamless has bagged order worth Rs 9.20 billion for supply of seamless casings, tubings, line pipes and ERW Pipes from Oil & Nature Gas Corpn against stiff competition from domestic / foreign manufacturers.

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 96.07% to 2,549 compared with 22-day average volume of 64,902.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Dec. 03, 2018, rising 0.87% compared with the Sensex's 3.51% rise. It outperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 2.64% as against 5.41% fall in the Sensex.

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.3, or 0.26%, to trade at Rs 495.00. The total volume of shares traded was 289 at the BSE (9.23 a.m., Tuesday).
