Jain Irrigation to do integrated drip irrigation project in Vidarbha. The project value is Rs 2.39 billion.

Project is based on a pioneered concept of Jain Irrigation Jalgaon i.e. resource to root.

Ajit B Jain, joint managing director of Jain Irrigation, said, ''This project is likely to improve the water use efficiency from current 35% to 90% and we are proud to be selected as the agency to implement the project.''

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.15, or 1.14%, to trade at Rs 102.15. The total volume of shares traded was 150,558 at the BSE (10.49 a.m., Wednesday).
