Indian Hume Pipe witnessed a rise in share price on Monday after the company has secured work order of Rs 1.83 billion from Tamil Nadu Water Supply & Drainage Board, Coimbatore for providing improvements to Water Supply Distribution to the added areas of Tiruppur Corporation in Tiruppur District including trial run, commissioning.
The project is to be completed within 24 months for construction from the date of issuance of the work order and paid maintenance for a period of one year.
Shares of Indian Hume Pipe Company are trading at Rs 490.50, up Rs 10.85, or 2.26% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday at 10:01 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 498.70 and low of Rs 485.00. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 11,040.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 8.48% to 61,067 compared with 22-day average volume of 66,725.
