Himachal Futuristic Communications (HFCL) bags advance purchase order for worth Rs 5.58 billion from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) New Delhi for planning, designing, procurement, installation, integration, commissioning, testing, training, documentation and maintenance of Hybrid Microwave broadband radio links including repeaters, EMS/NMS and antenna towers and accessories on turnkey basis for pan India Defence Network. The said order is to be executed within 18 months.
HFCL is one of India's largest telecom network turnkey implementation companies, with wide and deep capabilities and domain expertise in rolling out advanced telecom networks.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.2, or 4.9%, to trade at Rs 25.70. The total volume of shares traded was 1,482,201 at the BSE (12.22 p.m., Thursday).
