Tata Motors, India's automobile company and leader in commercial vehicles across segments, along with ExxonMobil Lubricants, a wholly-owned affiliate of ExxonMobil Corporation, today announced the launch of a comprehensive range of Mobil Delvac lubricants specially developed for and recommended by Tata Motors for its diesel commercial vehicles.

The products announced are - Mobil Delvac TM Genuine CI-4 PLUS Oil 15W-40, Mobil Delvac TM Genuine CH-4 Oil 15W-40 and Mobil Delvac TM Genuine CF-4 Oil 15W-40. "The new range is formulated from high performance base oils and a superior balanced additive system, which together provide optimum engine performance through increased viscosity, deposit control and wear protection. All three products will be available through ExxonMobil's distributor network across India," the company said.

Daniel Tan, chief executive officer, ExxonMobil Lubricants added, ''Our partnership with Tata Motors is founded on the core ExxonMobil philosophy of taking engine oils to the level of automotive design engineering with our partners across the world - thus articulating our commitment to designing high performance lubricants through our technology leadership. In 2014, Tata Motors' CVBU had approved Mobil Gear and Axle oils. With the new Tata Motors and Mobil co-branded range of lubricants now added to the portfolio, we will provide Tata Motors with lubricant technology expertise and support to help it achieve an edge in today’s competitive marketplace.''

''As leader in India's rapidly evolving and highly demanding commercial vehicle space, we have to constantly challenge ourselves in designing vehicles for a wide set of applications. The partnership with Mobil will help us to stand by our commitment to our customers and deliver beyond their expectations,'' said Sanjeev Garg, Global Head - Customer Care (CVBU), Tata Motors.
