Bharat Dynamics has received order worth Rs 2 billion (approx.) from The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for supply of Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM) rear section.

MRSAM is a joint development project between DRDO and Israel Aerospace industries, Israel with BDL as the Nominated Production Agency.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Oct. 10, 2018, falling 22.89% compared with the Sensex's 8.34% decline. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 27.70% as against 4.08% fall in the Sensex. 

Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 98.92% to 772 compared with 22-day average volume of 71,388.
