Ashoka Buildcon has received Letter of Intention from Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam for the Cluster 2: For the electrification work in Etah and Kashiram Nagar (Kasganj) District (accepted bid cost Rs 3.19 billion).
Cluster 5: For the electrification work in Kannoj, Farrukhabad and Etawah District (accepted bid cost of Rs 4.37 billion)
The accepted aggregate bid cost is Rs 7.56 billion.
The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till Apr. 16, 2018, rising 15.66% compared with the Sensex's 3.40% rise. It outperformed the market in past one quarter, gaining 9.86% as against 1.34% fall in the Sensex.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.05, or 0.4%, to trade at Rs 266.20. The total volume of shares traded was 9,295 at the BSE (11.53 a.m., Tuesday).
