US stock markets closed mixed on Wednesday after OPEC members reached an agreement to cut petroleum production.

NASDAQ 100 index lost 62.40 points or 1.28 percent to close at 4,810.81. The broader S&P 500 index fell 5.85 points or 0.27 percent to end at 2,198.81.

On the other hand, The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.98 points or 0.01 percent to settle at 19,123.58.
