US stock markets settled flat on Monday, after Apple shares surged to an all-time high and the Vix index closed at its lowest point since 1993.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 5.34 points or 0.03 percent to settle at 21,012.28. NASDAQ 100 index gained 12.98 points or 0.23 percent to close at 5,659.07. The broader S&P 500 index add 0.09 points to end at 2,399.38.
