US stock markets settled higher on Friday after two new reports related to a U.S. federal investigation into possible coordination between Russia and President Donald Trump's campaign renewed concerns about his political future.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 141.82 points or 0.69 percent to settle at 20,804.84. NASDAQ 100 index gained 25.25 points or 0.45 percent to close at 5,651.56. The broader S&P 500 index add 16.01 points, or 0.68 percent, to 2,381.73.
