European stock markets are trading marginally mixed on Wednesday after the Dow narrowly missed hitting the mythical 20,000 mark in U.S. trading yesterday.
UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 rose 9.28 points or 0.13 percent to trade at 7,053.24. Germany's benchmark index DAX rose 13.31 points or 0.12 percent to trade at 11,478.05.
On the other hand, Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 lost 4.46 points or 0.14 percent to trade at 3,274.95. French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 0.74 points or 0.02 percent to trade at 4,849.15.
On Tuesday, European stock markets closed higher. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 rose 21.56 points or 0.66 percent to settle at 3,279.41. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 26.80 points or 0.38 percent to close at 7,043.96.
