European stock markets are trading lower on Tuesday, with bank stocks falling more sharply.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 fell 11.16 points or 0.34 percent to trade at 3,297.81. Germany's benchmark index DAX declined 10.65 points or 0.09 percent to trade at 11,553.34. French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 15.18 points or 0.31 percent to trade at 4,872.39.
On the other hand, UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 11.30 points or 0.16 percent to trade at 7,249.07.
On Monday, European stock markets closed lower. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 declined 12.20 points or 0.37 percent to settle at 3,308.97. Germany's benchmark index DAX fell 35.02 points or 0.3 percent to end at 11,563.99. French benchmark index CAC 40 lost 22.27 points or 0.45 percent to end at 4,887.57.
