European stock markets are trading lower on Friday after a weaker Asia session and ahead of key payroll data from the United States.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 fell 20.63 points or 0.68 percent to trade at 3,030.98. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 declined 49.31 points or 0.73 percent to trade at 6,703.62.
Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX declined 106.25 points or 1 percent to trade at 10,534.05. French benchmark index CAC 40 declined 17.73 points or 0.39 percent to trade at 4,560.61.
On Thursday, European stock markets settled lower. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 lost 20.63 points or 0.68 percent to settle at 3,030.98. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 lost 30.86 points or 0.45 percent to close at 6,752.93.
