European stock markets are trading higher on Wednesday as investors focused on earnings and fresh data releases and digested President Donald Trump's address to Congress.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 37.49 points or 1.13 percent to trade at 3,357.10. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 52.90 points or 0.73 percent to trade at 7,316.34.
Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 126.44 points or 1.07 percent to trade at 11,960.85. French benchmark index CAC 40 gained 54.31 points or 1.12 percent to trade at 4,912.89.
On Tuesday, European stock markets settled higher. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 10.31 points or 0.31 percent to settle at 3,319.61. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 10.44 points or 0.14 percent to close at 7,263.44.
