European stock markets are trading higher on Thursday, after the release of upbeat coporate earnings reports, although political uncertainty continued to weigh.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 gained 14.23 points or 0.44 percent to trade at 3,252.27. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 7.33 points or 0.1 percent to trade at 7,196.15.
Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX rose 23.14 points or 0.2 percent to trade at 11,566.52. French benchmark index CAC 40 went up 18.86 points or 0.4 percent to trade at 4,785.46.
On Wednesday, European stock markets closed higher. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 rose 2.33 points or 0.07 percent to settle at 3,238.04. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 2.60 points or 0.04 percent to close at 7,188.82. French benchmark index CAC 40 went up 12.13 points or 0.26 percent to end at 4,766.60.
