European stock markets are trading higher on Wednesday as investors continue to pick through the first quarter earnings season and react to the policy objectives of President Donald Trump.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 rose 16.86 points or 0.52 percent to trade at 3,279.58. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 42.13 points or 0.59 percent to trade at 7,160.61.
Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 42.35 points or 0.36 percent to trade at 11,724.24. French benchmark index CAC 40 gained 23.44 points or 0.49 percent to trade at 4,808.08.
On Tuesday, European stock markets closed lower. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 lost 32.04 points or 0.98 percent to settle at 3,230.68. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 fell 19.33 points or 0.27 percent to close at 7,099.15.
