European stock markets are trading higher on Friday as investors continue adjusting to the prospect of three rate hikes in the U.S. next year.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 gained 2.43 points or 0.08 percent to trade at 3,252.17. Germany's benchmark index DAX gained 121.56 points or 1.08 percent to trade at 11,366.40. French benchmark index CAC 40 went up 4.21 points or 0.09 percent to trade at 4,823.44.
On the other hand, UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 lost 2.64 points or 0.04 percent to trade at 6,996.37.
On Thursday, European stock markets closed higher. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 38.03 points or 1.18 percent to settle at 3,249.74. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 49.82 points or 0.72 percent to close at 6,999.01.
