European stock markets are trading higher on Tuesday, as oil prices turned lower amid concerns ahead of a highly-anticipated OPEC meeting on Wednesday and as investors also remained cautious ahead of an Italian referendum this weekend.

Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 gained 13.49 points or 0.45 percent to trade at 3,030.29. Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 14.95 points or 0.14 percent to trade at 10,597.62. French benchmark index CAC 40 went up 24.84 points or 0.55 percent to trade at 4,535.23.

On the other hand, UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 fell 17.31 points or 0.25 percent to trade at 6,782.16.
