European stock markets settled mixed on Friday as investors weighed a mixed U.S. jobs report and an airstrike against Syria.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 rose 6.23 points or 0.18 percent to settle at 3,495.80. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 46.17 points or 0.63 percent to close at 7,349.37. French benchmark index CAC 40 gained 13.84 points or 0.27 percent to end at 5,135.28.
On the other hand, Germany's benchmark index DAX lost 5.83 points or 0.05 percent to end at 12,225.06.
