European stock markets closed mixed on Tuesday. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 21.62 points or 0.72 percent to settle at 3,038.42. Germany's benchmark index DAX rose 37.82 points or 0.36 percent to end at 10,620.49.

On the other hand, UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 fell 27.47 points or 0.4 percent to close at 6,772.00. French benchmark index CAC 40 went up 41.07 points or 0.91 percent to end at 4,551.46.
