Asian stock markets are trading higher on Thursday with investor sentiment boosted by the yen's sharp drop and an OPEC deal to cut oil production.
Japan's benchmark index, Nikkei 225 jumped 437.80 points or 2.39 percent to trade at 18,746.28. China's benchmark index, Shanghai Composite gained 19.88 points or 0.61 percent to trade at 3,269.91. Hong Kong's Hang Seng went up 163.16 points or 0.72 percent to trade at 22,952.93.
Singapore's Straits Times went up 16.71 points or 0.58 percent to trade at 2,921.88. South Korea's KOSPI gained 2.45 points or 0.12 percent to trade at 1,985.93. Taiwan's TAIEX gained 28.73 points or 0.31 percent to trade at 9,269.44.
