Asian stock markets settled higher on Tuesday, in line with Asian peers on the prospects of a less hawkish U.S. Federal Reserve policy trajectory.
China's benchmark index, Shanghai Composite gained 10.80 points or 0.33 percent to close at 3,261.61. Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 91.13 points or 0.37 percent to end at 24,593.12.
South Korea's KOSPI gained 21.37 points or 0.99 percent to end at 2,178.38. Taiwan's TAIEX went up 59.52 points or 0.6 percent to end at 9,972.49.
On the other hand, Japan's benchmark index, Nikkei 225 lost 65.71 points or 0.34 percent to settle at 19,455.88. Singapore's Straits Times fell 7.13 points or 0.23 percent to end at 3,158.57.
