US stock markets closed lower on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 53.72 points or 0.29 percent to settle at 18,232.02.

While NASDAQ 100 index lost 2.31 points or 0.05 percent to close at 4,527.16.  The index has witnessed a high of 4,542.46 and a low of 4,522.61 after opening at 4,522.86.

The broader S&P 500 index declined 4.76 points or 0.22 percent to end at 2,126.06. The index has seen a high of 2,132.15 and a low of 2,126.06 after opening at 2,130.36.
