Rupee closes down 5 paise against dollar to breach 64-mark

Indian rupee has breached 64-mark against US dollar on Wednesday. Local currency fell 5 paise or 0.08 percent against dollar to settle at 64.03. Rupee has witnessed a high of 63.90 and a low of 64.16. Its 52-week range was 58.79-64.28. In domestic stock markets, the benchmark 30-share index, BSE Sensex added 33.25 points or 0.12% at 27,564.66, while the broad based NSE Nifty closed flat with a decline of 4.75 points or 0.06%, at 8,334.60.25.
