NIIT Technologies has entered into partnership with Arago, a pioneer in artificial intelligence (Al) and leader in autonomous automation, to integrate Arago's general Al technology HIRO into its automation offering TRON Smart Automation.

HIRO is a unique problem-solving Al platform that dynamically reacts to a changing environment and is able to autonomously solve ambiguous and complex problems at every level of operations.

Arvind Thakur CEO NIIT Technologies said, ''Our partnership with Arago will enable us to deliver a superior automation experience to our customers by bringing in cutting-edge machine reasoning technology optimized by machine learning.''

Shares of the company gained Rs 7.3, or 1.5%, to trade at  Rs 494.95.  The total volume of shares traded  was  19,799 at the BSE (1.09 p.m., Tuesday).
