European stock markets are trading lower on Tuesday as investors focused on company earnings and fresh economic data.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 fell 3.82 points or 0.12 percent to trade at 3,308.57. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 lost 26.05 points or 0.36 percent to trade at 7,273.81. French benchmark index CAC 40 lost 5.61 points or 0.12 percent to trade at 4,859.38.
On the other hand, Germany's benchmark index DAX rose 3.32 points or 0.03 percent to trade at 11,830.94.
On Monday, European stock markets settled mixed. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 gained 3.58 points or 0.11 percent to settle at 3,312.39. On the other hand, UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 0.10 points to close at 7,299.86.
