European stock markets are trading higher on Wednesday, boosted by a strong finish on Wall Street and a modest rebound in oil prices.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 went up 30.29 points or 1.02 percent to trade at 3,001.13. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 65.69 points or 0.96 percent to trade at 6,873.36.
Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 107.00 points or 1.03 percent to trade at 10,468.48. French benchmark index CAC 40 went up 47.57 points or 1.08 percent to trade at 4,446.25.
On Tuesday, European stock markets closed lower. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 lost 5.04 points or 0.17 percent to settle at 2,970.84. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 fell 10.37 points or 0.15 percent to close at 6,807.67.
