European stock markets are trading higher on Friday after stronger-than-anticipated inflation data from China helped to calm nerves over global growth prospects.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 rose 29.17 points or 0.98 percent to trade at 3,004.21. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 35.39 points or 0.51 percent to trade at 7,013.13.
Meanwhile, Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 91.04 points or 0.87 percent to trade at 10,505.11. French benchmark index CAC 40 gained 46.54 points or 1.06 percent to trade at 4,451.71.
On Thursday, European stock markets closed lower. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 declined 32.99 points or 1.1 percent to settle at 2,975.04. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 declined 46.27 points or 0.66 percent to close at 6,977.74.
