European stock markets settled higher on Thursday as investors continued to digest political uncertainties and reacted to fresh corporate earnings.
Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 rose 19.04 points or 0.56 percent to settle at 3,440.03. UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 went up 4.18 points or 0.06 percent to close at 7,118.54.
Germany's benchmark index DAX gained 10.87 points or 0.09 percent to end at 12,027.32. French benchmark index CAC 40 rose 74.18 points or 1.48 percent to end at 5,077.91.
