European stock markets settled higher on Tuesday. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 rose 1.34 points or 0.04 percent to settle at 3,719.38.

While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 rose 10.80 points or 0.15 percent to close at 7,062.93.Germany's benchmark index DAX rose 47.67 points or 0.4 percent to end at 11,939.58.

Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 gained 5.05 points or 0.1 percent to end at 5,192.64.
