Dollar-rupee futures gained on Friday. USDINR August contract went up 15 paise or 0.23 percent at 64.32 as against previous close of 64.17.

The most active August contract touched a high of 64.39 and a low of 64.305 after opening at 64.37.

A total of 0.1 million contracts were traded till 09:19 pm. Turnover for August contract was at Rs6.15 billion. Meanwhile, open interest was at 1.13 million.

In spot market, rupee has declined 13 paise or 0.20 percent against dollar to trade at 64.21.
