Base metal prices lower in global markets

Industrial metal prices closed lower in the global markets on Friday. Nickel dropped the most with fall of 2.39 percent followed by Lead (2.22 percent), Zinc (2.15 percent), Copper (1.8 percent) and Aluminim (0.31 percent) at the London Metal Exchange (LME).

Copper prices declined $94.50 or 1.8 percent to settle at $5,155.50 per MT at the London Metal Exchange (LME). Aluminium prices lost $5.00 or 0.31 percent to close at $1,601.50 per MT. Zinc prices plunged $39.00 or 2.15 percent to close at $1,773.50 per MT.

Nickel prices plunged $240.00 or 2.39 percent to close at $9,785.00 per MT. Lead prices plunged $38.00 or 2.22 percent to close at $1,677.00 per MT. Tin prices lost $5.00 or 0.03 percent to close at $15,595.00 per MT.
