Indian equities gained on Tuesday. At 10.08 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 16.56 points or 0.04% at 37,602.07. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 3.65 points or 0.03% at 11,381.40.

Biggest gainers in the 30-share index were Hindustan Unilever (3.02%), Asian Paint (1.43%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (1.14%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (1.00%) and Mahindra & Mahindra (0.78%).

On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India (1.66%), Tata Motors (1.27%), State Bank of India (0.98%), Infosys (0.76%) and ICICI Bank (0.66%) were the biggest losers in the Sensex.
