Indian markets ended lower on Tuesday. At the close, the benchmark 30-share index, BSE Sensex declined 145.83 or 0.41% at 35,352.61. Meanwhile, the broad based NSE Nifty fell by 36.60 or 0.34% at 10,604.35.

Biggest losers in the 30-share index were Tata Consultancy Services (3.39%), NTPC (2.34%), Infosys (2.02%), Hero Motocorp (1.50%), Housing Development Finance Corporation (1.24%) and Hindustan Unilever (0.77%).

On the other hand, ICICI Bank (1.42%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (1.39%), M&M (1.37%), Larsen & Toubro (1.25%), Tata Steel (1.16%) and State Bank Of India (1.06%) were the major gainers in the Sensex.
