Kaveri Seed Company  disclosed a marginal decline in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 2015.  During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 5.19% to Rs 2,184.39 million from Rs 2,303.95 million  in the same quarter last year.

Revenues for the quarter declined 19.69% to Rs 6,640.70 million, compared with Rs 8,268.90 million for the prior year period.

Operating margin for the quarter stood at 33.12 percent  as compared to 27.84 percent for the previous year period.  Operating Income for the quarter was Rs 2,199.21 million, compared with Rs 2302.054 million in the previous year period.

Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 31.63, registering 5.41% decline over previous year period.
