Indian Hume Pipe Company has secured work order of Rs 1.19 billion from Public Health & Municipal Engineering Department, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh-Ongole Municipal Corporation, for providing Water Supply Improvements Scheme under AMRUT project. The project is to be completed within 15 months.

Indian Hume Pipe Company is engaged in the construction and maintenance of projects relating to water supply, irrigation, sanitation and sewerage systems, and pipe manufacturing.

Shares of the company gained Rs 4.15, or 0.91%, to trade at Rs 462.00. The total volume of shares traded was 6,104 at the BSE (3.03 p.m., Friday).
