US stock markets are likely to open mixed on Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average went down 0.11% to trade at 17,790. The S&P 500 futures declined 0.16% to trade at 2,069.90. The Nasdaq composite index futures increased 0.12% to trade at 4,323. (2.33 p.m., IST).

On Wednesday, US stock markets settled higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 12.81 points or 0.07 percent to settle at 17,827.75. While NASDAQ 100 index went up 29.76 points or 0.69 percent to close at 4,317.99.  The broader S&P 500 index rose 5.80 points or 0.28 percent to end at 2,072.83.
