European stocks may open higher on Friday. Europe's leading blue-chip index EURO STOXX 50 index futures went up 1.78% to trade at 3,321. Germany's benchmark index DAX futures went up 1.41% to trade at 10,443.5. UK's benchmark index, FTSE 100 futures increased to 1.16% to trade at 6,736.5.

On Thursday, European stock markets settled sharply higher. Europe's leading Blue-chip index, EURO STOXX 50 gained 52.92 points or 1.59 percent to settle at 3,322.65. While UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 gained 68.59 points or 1.01 percent to close at 6,796.63. Germany's benchmark index DAX went up 136.39 points or 1.32 percent to end at 10,435.62. Meanwhile, French benchmark index CAC 40 gained 67.98 points or 1.52 percent to end at 4,552.80.
