Asian stock markets are trading mixed on Friday. Japan's benchmark index, Nikkei 225 gained 189.87 points or 0.99 percent to trade at 19,275.18.

China's benchmark index, Shanghai Composite went up 3.29 points or 0.1 percent to trade at 3,251.84. Singapore's Straits Times went up 5.25 points or 0.17 percent to trade at 3,132.18.

On the other hand, Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 17.15 points or 0.07 percent to trade at 24,310.55. South Korea's KOSPI fell 6.26 points or 0.29 percent to trade at 2,166.46. Taiwan's TAIEX declined 14.54 points or 0.15 percent to trade at 9,916.20.
