Wholesale price inflation (WPI) in India stood at 5.77% for the month of June, 2018 as compared to 4.43% for the previous month and 0.90% during the corresponding month of the previous year.

Primary articles inflation was came at 5.30% in June as compared to 3.16% in the previous month. Manufactured products inflation came at 4.17% in June.

Inflation for fuel and power segment came at 16.18% in June as compared to 11.22% for the previous month.

Build up inflation rate in the financial year so far was 2.49% compared to a build up rate of -0.44% in the corresponding period of the previous year.
