India's Forex reserves increased by USD 4.26 billion over the week to USD 339.99 billion on Mar. 20, 2015. In the rupee terms, Forex reserves rose Rs 213.8 billion on week-on-week basis to Rs 21,228.5 billion on Mar. 20, 2015.
Foreign currency assets moved up USD 4.53 billion over the week to USD 314.88 billion. The value of country's gold reserve was unchanged over the week to USD 19.83 billion.
Meanwhile, amount under special drawing rights (SDRs) was USD 3.97 billion, up USD 18.2 million over the week. The reserve position in the IMF stood at USD 1.28 billion, down USD 295.8 million over the week.
On year-on-year basis, country's Forex reserves rose USD 41.35 billion to USD 339.99 billion. While, in the rupee term, Forex reserves increased Rs 2,976.3 billion over the year to Rs 21,228.5 billion.
