The international crude oil price of Indian basket declined 0.61% to USD 50.91 a barrel (bbl) on April 24, 2017 as against USD 51.22 a bbl on April 21, 2017.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian basket decreased to Rs 3,282.55 a bbl on April 24, 2017 as compared to Rs 3,306.96 a bbl on April 21, 2017.

Rupee closed stronger at Rs. 64.48 per USD on April 24, 2017 as against Rs. 64.57 per USD on April 21, 2017.

Local stock markets bounced back on Tuesday snapping earlier losses. At 11.43 a.m, the Sensex was trading up 185.31 points or 0.62% at 29,841.15. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 55.15 points or 0.60% at 9,273.10.
