The international crude oil price of Indian basket declined 0.10% to USD 50.39 a barrel (bbl) on March 20, 2017 as against USD 50.44 a bbl on March 17, 2017.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian basket decreased to Rs 3,294.95 a bbl on March 20, 2017 as compared to Rs 3,305.67 a bbl on March 17, 2017.

Rupee closed stronger at Rs 65.38 per USD on March 20, 2017 as compared to Rs 65.54 per USD on March 17, 2017.

Local stock markets continued to drop for the second day on Tuesday. At 11.11 a.m, the Sensex was trading down 50.66 points or 0.17% at 29,468.08 with 19 components falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 10.25 points or 0.11% at 9,116.60 with 33 components falling.
